Varför ljuger M om MUF?
Moderaterna, Vi i Tyresö (Stockholm), nr 1 2010, har denna rubrik på en av artiklarna i sin tidning:

"MUF landets största ungdomsförbund".
Vidare kan man bl.a. läsa:
"För första gången på 15 år når Moderata Ungdomsförbundet över 10 000 medlemmar i Sverige. Det är en fantastisk framgång som innebär att MUF ytterligare befäster sin position som Sveriges i särklass största politiska ungdomsförbund."
Tidningen med sin lögnaktiga propaganda delas ut gratis till samtliga hushåll i kommunen.

Med tanke på att det är moderaterna som äger tidningen (http://www2.tyreso.se/infobas/diskfor/politik/2005/0029.html) så är det ju inte så konstigt...
Men jävligt fult.
Efter lite efterforskningar (framför allt länken till Ung Pirats pressmeddelande) verkar de basera sitt uttalande på siffror från Ungdomsstyrelsen, vilket man egentligen inte kan klaga på. Tyvärr så har dessa siffror en eftersläpning på ett år - bidragen som delas ut i början av 2010 är baserade på medlemssiffrorna 31 december 2008, då UP "bara" hade 4800 medlemmar (varav drygt 4100 var bidragsgrundande).
Än värre är att de inte ens verkar känna till SVEROK, som verkligen är Sveriges största ungdomsförbund, och ca 10 ggr så många medlemmar som MUF. SVEROK är inte ett politiskt ungdomsförbund, men så står det inte heller något om att de endast pratade om politiska sådana, åtminstone inte i rubriken.

Trots ungdomsstyrelsens eftersläpade siffror från 2008 så har de lyckats uppdatera sina egna siffror i artikeln. MUF hade ju inte över 10000 medlemmar 2008. Lite mer uppdaterade tycker man de borde vara innan de påstår sig vara störst.

Max has it right when he identifies her "politics of personal crisis". There is a minority of people who crave crisis and these are her followers.Luckily they are a tiny minority, maybe about 10% of those who can vote. Faux noise get about 10% of the total audience that watches evening news when you include the broadcast networks in the count. This is her base.
