Datalagringen skjuts upp ett år efter att V, MP och SD gått ihop i riksdagen idag om en vilandeförklaring. Förhoppningsvis innebär detta att opinionen mot direktivet växer under kommande året så att det aldrig blir implementerat i Sverige samt att man inom EU begriper hur vidrigt direktivet är.

DATALAGRINGSDIREKTIVET

Ett EU-direktiv.

Operatörer blir skyldiga att lagra telefoni, meddelandehantering, internetåtkomst och anslutningsform i sex månader.
Uppgifterna ska kunna identifiera eller spåra kommunikationskällan, slutmålet för kommunikationen, datum, tidpunkt, längd, typ av kommunikation och varifrån.
I klartext kommer uppgifter lagras om vem som ringer, sms:ar eller mejlar och till vem och var man befinner sig och när och hur länge man gör detta.
Innehållet i kommunikationen får inte lagras.
Det är bara brottsbekämpande myndigheter som får använda uppgifterna.
Kostnaden beräknas enligt regeringen bli 200 miljoner kronor för lagringen, vilket operatörerna får svara för.
Operatörerna själva har hävdat att det kostar cirka 1 miljard kronor.
Kostnaden för att lämna ut uppgifterna beräknas till 20 miljoner kronor per år, vilket myndigheterna får svara för.
